The V100 will work with both vacuum bags and continuous rolls. It can take sizes up to 30cms wide and will remove the air from a medium sized bag (20cms x 30cms) in about 10 seconds. The V100 has a pressure indicator to show when the full vacuum is reached and the bag can then be heat sealed by manually pressing a switch. The sealing process takes about 5 seconds.

The V100 can also be used to vacuum acrylic containers, using the vacuum pump attachment which is supplied with the machine. These are perfect for keeping salads, soft fruit and chopped vegtables in top condition for up to five times longer than they would normally keep. The acrylic containers we supply are made in Germany and can be used in the fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

We supply a wide variety of vacuum bags which will enable you to get the best from your Lava machine. Our bags are made in Sweden from heavy duty polythene. When working out which size of bag you need, remember that vacuum bags have a one centimetre seam down each side. This means that you will need to allow an extra two centimetres of width when choosing bag sizes. You will also need to allow five centimetresat the top of the bag for the heat seal.

We supply three sizes of continuous vacuum packing rolls. These must be cut to length and one end heat sealed before use. These rolls give you a lot of flexibility when packing and keep wastage to a minimum. However the requirement to cut and seal before use means that they are not as convenient as bags.

These high quality containers are made in Germany and are perfect for keeping salads, soft fruit and chopped vegtables in top condition for up to five times longer than they would normally keep.
